Critical Writing Essay Contest

Every year, the Graduate Students in English Association (GSEA) hosts an Essay Contest that is open to all current GSEA members who have paid their yearly dues by the submission deadline.

Essays are be judged by a member of the English faculty.

​

The winner will receive an award and will be invited to read his/her essay as a keynote speaker at the Critical Voices Graduate Student Conference. 

 

How to Participate

Applicants must submit a conference-length (10-12 pages) critical essay on any subject.

​

Submission deadline: Spring 2016, TBA

​

Submit essays to the GSEA mailbox in the English office (Auditorium Building, room 112)
